Yesterday morning, the Guangdong provincial people's Congress held the use of third-party assessment of achievement advancing the provincial working Conference on solid waste management in rural areas. Journalists at the meeting was informed that at present the province has established living garbage harmless disposal site (factory) 94, urban domestic garbage treatment rate of 85%, rural domestic garbage treatment rate of 53.6%. Du Ting, Deputy Director of the Office of housing and urban-rural construction in Guangdong Province revealed that planned this year 510 million Yuan to support the construction of rural living garbage disposal facilities in the Northwest area of Eastern Guangdong and the construction of long-term mechanism.
