Recently, Hebei iron and steel group for 400 square meter sintering machine in Hangang ironmaking Department successful implementation of energy-saving transformation of the fire, ignited change from double gas mix-combustion of coke oven gas burning, tons of coal mine gas consumption reduces 5 cubic metres, good results have been achieved, annual reduction of 19.8 million cubic metres of gas usage, saving energy cost of 10.44 million Yuan achieved cost reduction and energy conservation goal of win-win.


It is reported that the Department's 400 square meter sintering machine stove installed in 2011 into use, overall use of preset beam curtain-type structure, fueled by Coke oven gas and blast furnace gas mixed together in a certain proportion. Due to the blast furnace gas pressure is greater than the pressure of coke oven gas, after mixing two gases often found low content of coke-oven gas, mixed gas pressure is unstable, resulting in poor quality of sinter surface ignition. While two different calorific value of gas, needed to make up the total increase, resulted in a high gas consumption. Before reconstruction was carried out by the fire, producing 1 ton double gas mix-combustion sintering ore consumed a total of 11 m/tons of ore.


In order to reduce energy consumption, the Department access to relevant technology information proposed changes the ignition furnace structure by curtain-new double-bevel, ignited by former co-combustion of blast furnace gas, coke oven gas, coke oven gas to plain burning. Advantages of the ignition for the gas source single ignited the air pressure stable, high heat of combustion. Double-helical structure with a new type energy-saving sprinkler hybrid burners, dual diagonal cross layout, Ribbon flame, high temperature area increases, effectively solved the uneven surface ignition problems on both sides, improve the efficiency of ignition, not only reduces the gas consumption, and improve the sinter output and quality.


Since the introduction of energy-saving, the 400-square-meter gas consumption in ignition furnace of sintering machine tons of mine from 11 down to 6 cubic metres, 53 kg of fuel ratio by ton mine dropped to 52 kg, sinter yield rose from 73% to 75%, has achieved the dual benefits of energy conservation and promoting production.
